This story started long before my sons were born. I first set foot in Costa Rica in 2008, and a year later, during a six-week house sit in the jungles of Uvita, a powerful clarity emerged: if I ever had children, this is where I would raise them. It wasn't a fleeting thought; it was a conviction.
My boys were born in Canada in 2010 and 2012. By the end of 2015, we made that conviction a reality. We sold or left everything we owned, packed our lives into a few bags, and moved here. We've been here ever since.

Now, our life is measured in jungle hikes, waterfall discoveries, and the quiet lessons of the natural world. My mission is simple: to raise my sons into strong, capable, and sovereign men who know how to navigate the wild, both outside and within. This site is a record of that ongoing journey.

The Next Generation of Creators
Part of this journey is not just about exploring the world, but learning to create within it. Recently, the boys have become obsessed with capturing their own adventures—from tricking on the trampoline to hitting dirt jumps on their bikes. They are learning the entire process of filming, editing, and sharing their work.
This is their new frontier. I encourage you to check out their channels, see the world through their eyes, and leave a comment to fuel their fire.
My Work & Writing
When I'm not exploring with my sons, I work with a specific type of entrepreneur—one who is ready to build their own life of freedom. I help them simplify their business and master their mindset to achieve sovereignty.
I also write about my personal journey, the philosophies I live by, and the lessons learned from a life of intentional exploration.
